EPISODE DESCRIPTION
In this episode Antony explores some of the main themes from the movie Educating Rita. He considers how Rita, played by Julie Waters, comes to terms with her struggle to create a new identity and lifestyle.
Antony also reflects upon the friendship between Rita and her teacher Frank, played by Michael Caine, in terms of what it reveals about the fragility of being a human being.
